This program responds to the demand for specialized professionals in a strategic sector in continuous expansion. The Spanish railway system is one of the most advanced in the world, ranking 1st in Europe in high-speed rail and 3rd globally in broad-gauge UIC network in service. It comprises approximately 600 companies, invoices 6.5 billion euros annually and employs 145,000 professionals.
The Spanish railway industry is a global leader with high degree of internationalization and technological innovation. The master’s is characterized by its close partnership with leading companies in the sector through its Advisory Council, which includes institutions such as Adif, Alstom, FGC, Idom, Talgo, Renfe, Sener, Siemens and TMB.
This constant business collaboration has generated its greatest success: an exceptionally high employment rate, where a large percentage of students find work in railway companies upon completion. The program is defined by its practical nature, with visits to FGC and Renfe facilities and workshops, TMB traction substations and automatic lines, Alstom and Siemens factories, and AVE control centers in Zaragoza and Commuter rail in Barcelona operated by Adif. The professional internship program constitutes a direct gateway to the labor market.
