Description
The Master’s in Executive Supply Chain Management. Operations and Logistics of UPC School, is a program designed to train highly specialized executives and managers in comprehensive supply chain management.
The master’s degree provides students with strategic and operational competencies to lead logistics, operations management, distribution and design of resilient and efficient supply chains in a context of digital transformation and energy transition.
This program responds to the reality of the logistics sector as one of the economic sectors with the greatest future potential, representing 13.8% of the economy and growing above other industrial sectors. The sector is in full evolutionary process facing simultaneous challenges: changes in consumption, increased e-commerce, need to reduce risks, improve agility of response, prioritize local suppliers for critical products, accelerate digitalization and build strategic stock buffers.
The master’s is designed as a premium high-level product, incorporating a wide range of training resources: lectures by senior executives with extensive professional experience, real practical cases, company visits, a final project developed within a real company under the direction of its executives, and maritime logistics learning aboard ships. The teaching team is mainly composed of senior executives from logistics and production sector companies, complemented by contributions from the most important European universities in logistics such as Cranfield, as well as specialized know-how centers.
Students will participate in a course on maritime logistics at the European School of Short Sea Shipping to learn firsthand the particularities of maritime transport and the potential of maritime highways. The diversity of participant profiles, professionals with supply chain experience, make networking, constant content updates and practical methodology standout elements. Additionally, the master’s has the collaboration of the Lean Management Institute of Spain, recognizing the training provided and allowing interested students to obtain the Lean Supply Chain Management Certification.
